This is a lovely small painting of four onions laying on a table. An interesting angle has been taken and the blue cloth also intensifies the uncommon composition for a still life painting. It has been painted rougly but precise in a style that somewhat resembles Van Gogh, and can be called post-impressionistic. Cardboard is an excellent material for oil paintings and can last for decades, if not hundreds of years but it must be handled carefully.
It's possible to have the painting professionally framed. Please select the second option if you would prefer that. The colour and style of the frame will be discussed via e-mail.
